Figurative imagery has always threatened to emerge from my abstract paintings. Thinking it was a too easy solution, I painted them out for years. In the meantime I learned a lot about painting. Lately I embrace and rely on the figures/faces to maintain my interest and to communicate. I leave it up to you to decide what is or isn't communicated. Most of these paintings are oil on canvas. A few of the smaller ones are oil on wood panels. This is an initial selection, leaning more toward recent work. We will be adding more older images and work on paper in the near future.
